X-Quisit King Klyde,
lilac points, bred pure,
slim, sleek, blue eyed,
exquisite creature.
This cat, for a small fee,
came to live with me.
complete with pedigree.
In the beginning
he acted very scared,
perhaps thinking,
no one cared.
He would go away,
Like a ghost,
Then came the day,
He let me get close,
his fear went away,
he made me smile,
loudly he meowed,
As Siamese will do,
Purring he showed,
He trusts me, true,
Petting allowed,
My friend he’ll be,
No more to hide
Or run to be free,
X-Quisit King Klyde.
