Hemlock

For Socrate's
philosophy,
he was made by
a Decree, To
drink the juice of
the deadly leaf
of hemlock tree.
Teaching he dared,
the fantasy,
that men could learn,
to think, minds free.
In reality,
the powers to be,
lifted glassy
eyes, toasting a
fait accompli.
