I am woman and I am old.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring
I hear the bells toll.
I see rainbows in the Spring
I want chocolate in a bowl
I am woman and I am old.
I pretend I am afraid of things.
I feel fear that I will fail.
I touch the cold darkness, it stings
I worry that I am alone on the trail
I cry about sad things.
I am woman and I am old.
I understand the sun will rise the next day
I say God is always with me
I dream but, they don't stay
I try to agree
I hope I find my way
I am woman and I am old.
