They were LOVERS
Lucky finding four leaf clovers
Arriving passengers in a NEW Taxi
Both of them very happy
Free of gloom or MOURNING
Plans for Rest sojourning
Rented room in HOTEL
Walls of DIFFERENT colors pastel
Both free of old BAGGAGE
Comfortable like familiar adage
They made Plans to visit the CITY
All dressed up and looking pretty
Giggling and acting SILLY
Topping their food with piccalilli
Guzzling junk FOOD
Enjoying the mood
Greeting new Friends
STRESS, Happiness transcends
Losing track of TIME they SPEND
A wonderful WEEKEND
They crossed a BRIDGE
DESIRE to reach green grassy ridge
Arriving followed IDEAS
Picking clusters of flowers from the spirea
BREAKING, they suggest
Under the oak TREES to rest
YELLOW FLOWERS cover the FIELD
The bounty of earths yield
Gift of kiss a sudden ACTION
Return of passion was the reaction
They took the PATH to the LAKE
A TREAT for the ducks they take
Eyes agree in CONFERENCE
The gate was open to the fence
Looking at each other UNDERSTANDING
Claiming the RED boat tied at docks landing
Not BOTHERED that it was in ill REPAIR
Invincible, confident of a ride to share
Only a short time in the waters BLUE
They suddenly LOST the shoreline view
It was a great WORRY
Seeing the wild bounce of the buoy
PATTERN of GATHERING Clouds
Appeared like black shrouds
In CONFUSION life became different
Boat flipping over, a horrible accident
OVERWHELMED they sank BELOW
The waters swallowed boats cargo
Another DEMINSION WANDERING
In TROUBLE floundering.
TANGLED in the seaweed of the cove
LOST, their lot would not IMPROVE
TERMINAL, love didn’t change condition
They escaped not Death and perdition!
